I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine worked at R-Air Flying Service in Lake In The Hills, IL and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really must narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more research to see which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Lake In The Hills as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
