I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine used to work at Panasonic Aviations Corporation in Lake Forest, CA and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets companies to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to determine which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Lake Forest as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
