I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine used to work at Stepcon Aviation Inc in Lafayette, TN and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further benefits but these are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

I really must reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more reading to see which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Lafayette as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
