I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A relative of mine briefly worked at Marshall County Airport – Office in Lacon, IL and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

• Contract Insight
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really must narrow it down to the top software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the best way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do some more research to see which products offer the most features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Lacon as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
