I have spent the last 2 months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A relative of mine used to work at North Central Behavioral Health Systems Inc in La Salle, IL and she said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more benefits but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more investigating to work out which products offer the best features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in La Salle as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
