I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Tri-Star Aviation in La Porte, TX and she said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets organisations to easily manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are many benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are further product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in La Porte as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
