I have spent the last few months searching for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Kissimmee Airport – Administrative Office in Kissimmee, FL and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are numerous advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are other advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to work out which products offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Kissimmee as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
