I have spent the last 2 months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Harvey Planes Llc in Kiln, MS and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to effectively manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a little more research to see which products offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Kiln as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
