I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Hooterville Airport in Kenney, IL and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more research to determine which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Kenney as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
