I have spent the last couple of months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Jetbridge Technology Inc in Kennedale, TX and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I want it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are often the quickest way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more reading to see which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Kennedale as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
