I have spent the last 2 months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, MO and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really should narrow it down to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a bit more research to see which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Kansas City as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
