I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A colleague of mine worked at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL and she said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are more benefits but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other corporations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to see which products offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Joliet as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
