I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Majestic Terminal Services in Jacksonville, FL and he said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are frequently the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more reading to work out which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Jacksonville as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
