I have spent the last few months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A relative of mine briefly worked at Julian Carroll Airport in Jackson, KY and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are many advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a bit more reading to determine which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Jackson as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
