I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Grant County / Silver City Airport – SVC in Hurley, NM and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software enables enterprises to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a little more research to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Hurley as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
