I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A friend of mine used to work at Action Limousines & Motor Cars in Houston, TX and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are other advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next step is to do a little more research to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Houston as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
