I have spent the last couple of months investigating the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine used to work at Marriott CVG Airport in Hebron, KY and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more research to determine which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Hebron as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
