I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine used to work at Greeley-Weld County Airport in Greeley, CO and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are further benefits but these are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really should reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to determine which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Greeley as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
