I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A relative of mine used to work at Airport Aircraft Maintenance Grnd Rapids in Grand Rapids, MN and he once said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are often the best way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a bit more reading to work out which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Grand Rapids as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
