I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A colleague of mine worked at Cook County – County Offices, Switchboard & in Grand Marais, MN and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are further benefits but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

• Memba Context

I really should narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the best way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do some more reading to see which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Grand Marais as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
