I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A friend of mine worked at Laconia Airport Authority in Gilford, NH and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to work out which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Gilford as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
