I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A relative of mine briefly worked at Georgetown Municipal Airport in Georgetown, TX and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are frequently the best way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a little more investigating to determine which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Georgetown as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
