I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine worked at DBF Enterprises L.L.C. in Gainesville, GA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are a number of benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do some more investigating to work out which packages offer the best features and the most value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Gainesville as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
