I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine worked at Fulton Municipal Airport in Fulton, MO and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other advantages but those are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the best way to make a final decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to see which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Fulton as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
