I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Iasco in Foster City, CA and he said they never used that type of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are many benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Blueridge Software
• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on online reviews. Software program reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more investigating to see which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Foster City as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
