I have spent the last 2 months searching for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Global Air Response in Englewood, CO and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are more product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are frequently the best way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a bit more investigating to work out which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Englewood as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
