I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Aviation Property Management in Englewood, CO and he said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further benefits but they are what matters most to me and generally to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really must shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a bit more research to work out which packages offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Englewood as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
