I have spent the last couple of months looking for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Gibson City Airport in Elliott, IL and she said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are further benefits but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Memba Context

I really should shorten the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do a little more investigating to see which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Elliott as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
