I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which product to get. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Dade Aviation in El Paso, TX and he said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Contract Connect
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really should shorten the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do some more reading to work out which products offer the best features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in El Paso as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
