I have spent the last couple of months looking for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine worked at American Airports-El Monte Airport in El Monte, CA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to easily manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do a little more reading to work out which products offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in El Monte as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
