I have spent the last few months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine used to work at South Arkansas Regional Airport in El Dorado, AR and she said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

• ProCon

I really must reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are often the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to determine which packages offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in El Dorado as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
