I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Katama Airfield in Edgartown, MA and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are other product advantages but those are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

• Contract Insight
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to narrow it down to the best software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a bit more research to determine which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Edgartown as well as a number of IT businesses presenting this as a service.
