I have spent the last few months investigating the best contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Detroit City Airport – DET in Detroit, MI and she said they never used that style of software and could not understand why I want to buy this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows enterprises to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other businesses.

I really must shorten the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next step is to do some more investigating to work out which products offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Detroit as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
