I have spent the last couple of months searching for the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine used to work at Travelers Assistance Program in Denver, CO and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least in my case what I would like it to do. There are a number of advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other product advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, cost, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are often the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a bit more research to see which products offer the most features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Denver as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
