I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A relative of mine used to work at Dayton International Airport in Dayton, OH and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets organisations to effectively manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are a number of reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are often the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next move is to do some more reading to determine which programs offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Dayton as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
