I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A colleague of mine used to work at Culpeper Regional Airport in Culpeper, VA and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to buy this kind of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are many reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are other benefits but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are often the quickest way to make a good decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a little more research to see which programs offer the greatest features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Culpeper as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
