I have spent the last 2 months investigating the best contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A relative of mine briefly worked at Concord Jet Service in Concord, CA and she said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables companies to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are many advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are other product advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Accruent

I really must reduce the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the best way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a bit more research to determine which products offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Concord as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
