I have spent the last 2 months looking for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Compton Airport in Compton, CA and she said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the different types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• improves clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really must shorten the list to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are frequently the easiest way to make the right decision before purchasing software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more reading to work out which programs offer the most features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Compton as well as a number of IT organisations providing this as a service.
