I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A relative of mine worked at Courtyard Marriott Columbus AP in Columbus, OH and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to discuss why I would like to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows companies to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• improves compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more benefits but those are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to shorten the list to the top software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software program reviews are often the quickest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a little more research to see which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Columbus as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
