I have spent the last few months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A friend of mine briefly worked at Holiday Inn Express Airport in Colorado Springs, CO and he once said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is used for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the many types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are further product advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Open Windows
• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really should shorten the list to the most effective software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make the right decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My plan is to do some more research to determine which products offer the best features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Colorado Springs as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
