I have spent the last few months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A colleague of mine briefly worked at Clinton City – Airport in Clinton, IA and he said they never used that kind of software and could not comprehend why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows organisations to effectively manage the different types of contracts they utilise. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least what I would like it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Blueridge Software
• Accruent

I really have to shorten the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software program reviews are often the quickest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do a little more investigating to work out which packages offer the most features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Clinton as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
