I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A relative of mine briefly worked at American Airlines in Cleveland, OH and she said they never used that type of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the different types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are other product advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

I really have to reduce the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on online reviews. Software reviews are frequently the best way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a bit more research to work out which programs offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Cleveland as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
