I have spent the last couple of months looking for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Clearwater Airpark Inc in Clearwater, FL and he said they never used that kind of software and could not understand why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first explaining what the software does:

Contract management software allows organisations to easily manage the many types of contracts they use. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides clarity

There are other benefits but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• ProCon

I really have to reduce the list to the most effective software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before buying software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do a bit more reading to work out which products offer the best features and the best value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Clearwater as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
