I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Spicer Aircraft Inc in Clay Center, KS and he said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables organisations to efficiently manage the various types of contracts they utilise. This specific type of software can ensure very consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are numerous benefits of using purpose built contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other organisations.

• IntelliContract
• Ketera Contract Management Express
• Memba Context

I really must narrow it down to the best software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more research to work out which programs offer the most features and the most value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are quite a lot of contract management software providers in Clay Center as well as a number of IT organisations giving this as a service.
