I have spent the last 2 months investigating the most reliable contract management software and am still at a loss as to which product to get. A colleague of mine used to work at Executive Jet Management in Chicago, IL and he once said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software lets enterprises to easily manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure consistent contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are numerous reasons for using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• provides clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am researching includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really must narrow it down to the top software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this kind of software.

My plan is to do a bit more reading to determine which packages offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Chicago as well as a number of IT organisations presenting this as a service.
