I have spent the last couple of months investigating the most efficient contract management software and am still unsure as to which way to go. A friend of mine worked at Blimpie in Charlottesville, VA and she said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to purchase this specific type of software. I tried to discuss why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is used for:

Contract management software allows companies to easily manage the various types of contracts they use. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is basically what contract management software does or at least what I am looking for it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• automatically controls the contract cycle
• facilitates compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but they are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• Contract Insight
• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really have to reduce the list to the best software based on features, value, and then on customer reviews. Software reviews are often the quickest way to make a final decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My next move is to do some more research to determine which products offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Charlottesville as well as a number of IT companies presenting this as a service.
