I have spent the last few months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which product to get. A friend of mine briefly worked at Wilson Air Center in Charlotte, NC and he said they never used that style of software and could not comprehend why I want to purchase this kind of software. I tried to show why I need to use contract management software by first discussing what the software does:

Contract management software allows organisations to efficiently manage the many types of contracts they use. This type of software can ensure consistent contracts which displays payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at a minimum what I would like it to do. There are numerous benefits of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces risk
• improves clarity

There are more advantages but these are what matters most to me and generally to other corporations.

• Softrax
• Memba Context

I really must reduce the list to the best software based on features, cost, and then on online reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially this kind of software.

My next move is to do a bit more research to determine which programs offer the greatest features and the greatest value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Charlotte as well as a number of IT companies providing this as a service.
