I have spent the last 2 months searching for the most efficient contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine used to work at Airport Manager in Cedar City, UT and he once said they never used that kind of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to explain why I need to use contract management software by first explaining what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to easily manage the many types of contracts they utilise. This kind of software can ensure very consistent contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at a minimum what I want it to do. There are numerous advantages of using specific contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• reduces the risk
• improves clarity

There are more product advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

Software I am considering includes the following:

• Finetooth
• Khameleon Software by Oracle
• Softrax
• ProCon

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Product reviews are generally the quickest way to make the right decision before downloading software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a bit more investigating to see which packages offer the best features and the greatest value for money. It is not easy seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Cedar City as well as a number of IT companies giving this as a service.
