I have spent the last few months looking for the best contract management software and am still not convinced as to which program to buy. A colleague of mine worked at Gilliam-Mcconnell Air Field in Carthage, NC and he said they never used that style of software and could not make sense of why I want to buy this type of software. I tried to show why I want to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the different types of contracts they engage in. This specific type of software can ensure standard contracts which details payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is what contract management software does or at least in my case what I am looking for it to do. There are a number of advantages of using particular contract management software. For example it:

• easily automates the contract cycle
• increases compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides contract clarity

There are further advantages but these are what matters most to me and often to other businesses.

Software I am thinking about getting includes the following:

• IntelliContract
• Softrax
• Accruent

I really have to narrow it down to the most effective software based on features, price, and then on user reviews. Software reviews are generally the easiest way to make a good decision before buying software, especially this type of software.

My plan is to do a little more investigating to see which packages offer the greatest features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are so many contract management software providers in Carthage as well as a number of IT businesses giving this as a service.
