I have spent the last couple of months searching for the most reliable contract management software and am still not convinced as to which way to go. A friend of mine briefly worked at Yellow Allied Cab Company in Burlingame, CA and he said they never used that type of software and could not make sense of why I want to get this specific type of software. I tried to show why I would like to use contract management software by first showing what the software is designed for:

Contract management software enables enterprises to effectively manage the many types of contracts they engage in. This kind of software can ensure standard contracts which shows payments, deliverables, commitments, and compliance terms of the contract.

So that is effectively what contract management software does or at least what I want it to do. There are many reasons for using specific contract management software. For example it:

• facilitates compliance on both sides
• lowers risk
• provides clarity

There are more product advantages but these are what matters most to me and frequently to other organisations.

I really should shorten the list to the best software based on features, price, and then on customer reviews. Product reviews are frequently the quickest way to make a good decision before purchasing software, especially such important software.

My next step is to do some more research to see which programs offer the most features and the best value for money. It is quite difficult seeing as there are a lot of contract management software providers in Burlingame as well as a number of IT businesses providing this as a service.
